Our Board of Management are elected members of Personnel West Association Incorporated. They are responsible for fulfilling the obligations contained within the Service Agreement held between the funding body (DEEWR) and Personnel West Association Inc.
Some of these obligations are:
- Use of the funding for the provision of employment assistance services. – Meeting the Disability Services Standards when providing those services. – Achieving the specified outcomes. – Conducting regular meetings to plan and review agency performance.
Election of Board Members is conducted at our Annual General Meeting and voting is open to all financial members of the Association.

Mark got his first taste in marketing in high school where he was involved in the schools newsletter and year book. This was the beginning of a very rewarding career. Mark has continued his education by obtaining a diploma of public relations Publicity and Promotion s through the Australian college of journalism, a diploma of community education through tafe and has just recently completed a diploma of management and also a certificate of business administration.
Mark has been involved In “Non for Profit” and volunteer Organisations since leaving school, such as the Catholic Diocese at Calvary Private Hospital, Mark held a position as fundraising manager with the public hospital in cairns , then moving to Toowoomba to work with guide dogs QLD and on to an event management roll with Australian events. Mark is currently the Promotions and fundraising manager at the Toowoomba Hospice.
Brad has been a member of the Board since 2007. Brad is an accountant at Pacific Seeds, where he deals with taxation and other compliance issues. His role within Pacific Seeds covers many different areas including budgeting, financial statement analysis, income tax, GST and liaising with external auditors. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with 9 years experience in both public practice and the commercial environment.

Peter works for the Australian Red Cross as a Case Manager with the Homestay program, an early intervention program to prevent homelessness. Peter joined the board in 2010. Before starting at the Red Cross Peter worked in tenancy and disability advocacy at The Advocacy & Support Centre, and in a homeless men’s service at the Salvation Army in Brisbane.
